Aerotropolis ready to takeoff with 10 MOUs now in place

The Western Sydney Aerotropolis is on track to create 200,000 jobs, with the NSW Government signing the 10th major agreement to attract investment to the Aerotropolis since the Investor Forum in May.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian committed to deliver 10 MoUs this year and has now delivered with the final commitment to develop a Space Industry Hub from 18 NSW space companies, research and education institutions, as well as the CSIRO – a major coup for NSW.

November 2018 – Japan’s Urban Renaissance Agency signs on to offer its expertise to support development of the Aerotropolis and a world class urban environment for the Western Parkland City. December 2018 – The University of Sydney signs on for a global agricultural science hub. December 2018 – 18 NSW space companies and supporting organisations sign on to develop a ‘Space Industry Hub’ in Sydney that will grow space companies for later relocation to the Aerotropolis.
