Wollongong City Council's draft beach access strategy on public exhibition

Residents have been asked to have their say on Wollongong City Council's draft beach and foreshore strategy.

The strategy will provide a planned approach on ways the council can give people with disability, those with prams and people with limited mobility access to Wollongong's beaches and foreshore areas.

“We believe by offering these opportunities at four popular beaches we will be better able to plan for improved access for all to our beaches.”

The draft Beach and Foreshore Access Strategy 2019 – 2028 is now available on the council’s website until March 19.
