Dapto High School spell principal's favourite phrase 'Go Dapto' during farewell

Hundreds of students from Dapto High School participated in a celebratory morning for their departing principal, Andrew FitzSimons. After a cooked breakfast, students lined the oval to spell-out of Mr FitzSimons' favourite phrase 'Go Dapto' - directed and shot by the school's very own Cert IV in drone technology student, Tavian Matic.
Mr FitzSimons then addressed the whole school community, reflecting on his near 20 years in the role.
The 72-year-old has a strong reputation for being the school's 'yes man' after becoming one of the first principals to install solar panels and boosting the education of disadvantaged kids through a daily breakfast program.
